Details of the Parapera Anemos Masterpiece Get Fast
One drive for everything
The Anemos Masterpiece relies on Campagnolo’s “Ekar” single drivetrain from the factory, with 13 gears – currently the only one on the market with this range. The transmission consists of a chainring with 40 teeth and a cassette with 13 sprockets, with 9 to 42 teeth.
With the gear ratio range of just under 470 percent, all speed ranges are largely covered, and even steeper climbs are easy to tackle thanks to the reduction in first gear, the low overall weight and the bike’s sporty orientation.
Classic and customizable cockpit
Cockpit cables are routed externally for quick accessibility in case of defects and easier maintenance. The classic handlebar stem setup also offers maximum customizability. At 150 grams, the Schmolke Carbon handlebar is one of the lightest of its kind. The damping properties of the handlebar are maximally comfortable in all road conditions, steering impulses are readily and quickly implemented even at high speeds and in difficult situations.
Confident and agile performance
The Anemos Masterpiece is hungry for speed! It feels most at home on compact gravel roads, but it is also a confident companion in hectic riding situations. In addition, the Anemos MP is forward-looking in handling, but implements all steering impulses razor-sharp. However, agility clearly takes precedence over smoothness on the Anemos MP, which is central to such a high-performance bike. As a rider you should know exactly what you are doing, because the Anemos Masterpiece follows every command immediately and directly.
Compact and sporty geometry
The rider sits compactly integrated into the bike, but still sporty – overall a good balance of sporty handling and suitability for everyday use. The Anemos MP doesn’t want to be a bikepacker or trail machine – it has its older brother for that. Rather, the masterpiece invites you to high-speed chase on compact, quite angular tracks.
Maximum acceleration
In terms of acceleration, the Anemos Masterpiece has a lot in common with the Atmos Masterpiece. It sprints off like there’s no tomorrow, and it’s incredibly quick on speed. No matter the situation, whether on the flat or uphill, the Anemos Masterpiece consistently generates propulsion from every kick. If it is then on speed, it can hold the same with high efficiency. The very light carbon wheels from Campagnolo also contribute to this. With a jaw width of 25mm, they harmonize perfectly with the 40mm Schwalbe G-One R tires.
Comfort and feedback
The comfort could not be neglected even in a competition-oriented bike, which is not to be omitted on rooted paths or rougher gravel roads, on all-road missions or on fast hardpack. The Anemos Masterpiece shines with a good vibration damping by the many sources of comfort to allow the driver as long and fatigue-free ride. At the same time, you always get good feedback from the ground and even with larger impacts it is never hard as a board.
